Who am I?
I’m a 21 year old writer from the UK. I’m currently on a self-guided journey to discover how to make something of my creativity and where writing can lead me. Ultimately, I want to live in freedom. I’m a firm believer in being delusional enough, having irrevocable self belief until something works. In fact, I believe it is unreasonable if you want something enough, and devote yourself to getting it ,that you will not achieve it.
I know that the best place to start is by taking action , and learning as you go. I’m primarily writing this for myself; this blog will act like an accountability partner- a journal of my progress/ journey. I will share how I have begun my copywriting and content writing path, the skills I am honing ,with shorter posts reflecting on what I’m learning and what I’ve found useful.
To Create and Evolve is to Live – if you stop learning, you stop living, become stagnant and grow old. To stay young is to keep evolving.
Who This Blog Is For
This space is for anyone like me, beginning their freelance journey. If you’re a creative person curious about how to turn your ideas into something real. If you get that creeping discomfort when you picture yourself working in a comfortable, predictable,corporate job. The kind where “stability” slowly erodes your freedom, your energy, and your creativity. And when you do get a rare moment to yourself, you’re too burned out to enjoy it. Sound familiar? If you’re craving a life on your own terms, one where your ideas, your words, and your skills matter, this is for you.
I believe a creative mind is not just precious but powerful. When applied to digital skills like copywriting, content creation, design, or SEO, it becomes a vehicle for freedom: personal, professional, and spiritual.
This is for you if you have self belief and know you are destined for more in life, this belief does not come from arrogance but is rooted in an unshakable faith in yourself. Confidence that only you have the power to change your circumstances and creation is the way to do it.
The Creative World is Opening Up
Humans are inherently built to create, being in a creative flow state is the most fulfilling way to be. I think the world is changing in a beautiful way. Creative people can find alternative paths thanks to sites like these. There are endless new pathways. Whether you want to learn with me or even follow along silently.. There is so much out there! The world has opened up so much for creatives. Beyond all the digital freelancing skills to gain, Ai, as scary as she may be , can also be a beautiful creativity boosting tool.
I love the notion of “Start Where You Are” . This comes from Pema Chödrön, a Tibetan Buddhist monk. The best time to start something is when you first think of it. Just do. Learn through action , taking a step toward where you want to be. Think in terms of the bigger picture, don’t be limited by judgment or fear that only exists in the now.
My style of writing: I’m into lots of varied stuff. Of course , I’m only at the beginning. Still exploring my niche. I have experience writing for my university’s blog , travel writing, reflective pieces, poetry, journal style, content writing and copywriting. The answer is all sorts of things. As a prolific journal keeper since I was child, it’s only natural that online writing is a thing I can do.
Anyway, I hope this sets the stage and gives you context for this page. I’m calling out anyone interested in self- discovery , self improvement, freelancing , copywriting, seo, content writing , Upwork warriors or people in a similar position as me- creatives who want to connect or be each other’s accountability partners.
